Modelling energy assets
The challenge
Local production, batteries, heat pumps, e-boilers, … are too often assessed in isolation, preventing them from delivering their combined value and flexibility.
The insight
AYA identifies which energy assets create value by analysing consumption, processes and grid constraints, and defines how they can be combined, operated flexibly and financed, from own CAPEX to third-party structures.
The impact
This delivers an on-site setup aligned with your energy contracts that supports flexibility and sustained value creation.
Energy assets create real value only when they are aligned with energy contracts and actively steered through flexibility. Clients who manage this coherently reduce energy cost volatility by up to 15% and unlock structural budget control.

Rolling out energy assets
AYA connects the dots by bringing the right installers and service providers to your project.
We know the market and tender it efficiently for a range of energy assets, including local production, batteries, heat pumps, e boilers and monitoring, while ensuring smooth delivery, stakeholder alignment and integration into your operations.
We model, we roll out, we operate so your energy stays in control.
Operating energy assets
Keeping assets valuable over time
Once energy assets are operational, AYA keeps them valuable over time through active optimisation. Via the Flex Hub, PV systems, batteries, heat pumps and e-boilers are steered based on market prices, flexibility opportunities, grid conditions and site constraints.
We actively track regulatory and energy market changes and implement new optimisation mechanisms, such as market based PV curtailment to unlock additional value.
Solar is the most affordable energy source, yet grid constraints and overproduction can quickly erode its value. Only a coherent approach with storage, flexibility and PV curtailment preserves both financial returns and the full decarbonisation impact of solar assets.

Profit Sharing that Aligns Value
The challenge
Energy assets are often delivered as one-off projects, with limited incentives to maximise performance once they are live. This leaves flexibility revenues, market opportunities and long-term value untapped.
The solution
AYA applies a profit-sharing model that aligns incentives across the full lifecycle of energy assets. Value creation becomes a shared objective, driven by continuous optimisation after go live.
The impact
Lower upfront risk, transparent value creation and a partner who stays committed to improving asset performance, flexibility revenues and financial returns over time.
Go for flexibility with Demand Side Response and load management
Create value by using assets such as heatpumps, batteries and cooling on the flexibility market.
Demand Side Response (DSR) helps balance the electricity grid while generating additional revenue. By smartly controlling your assets, you capture shortages or surpluses on the grid and receive remuneration from energy markets and Elia. We ensure the ideal set-up between local services and Demand Side Response to maximise your value.
Self-consumption
Maximising self-consumption of your own production (solar, wind or other). More local use means less injection and higher value from your assets.
Load shifting
Through load management, you shift consumption to cheaper hours of the day. Your Energy Manager uses quarterly hourly prices to optimise when you consume.
Peak shaving
Reducing consumption during peak hours. By lowering your peak, you decrease your capacity tariff and avoid unnecessary peak costs.
By building a clear business case, analysing processes and grid constraints, and selecting the right assets and relevant installers, we define how production, storage and electrification can be combined and operated flexibly in line with energy contracts.
