Alexandre is a dedicated energy professional with extensive experience in gas and power trading across European markets. Before co-founding AYA Energy, he specialised in energy trading strategies. At AYA, he focusses on driving value creation by fostering key relationships with European energy market stakeholders and shaping the company’s product and service offerings. Additionally, he plays a leading role in accelerating growth, with a strong emphasis on mergers and acquisitions.​

Louis is an experienced energy and management professional with a strong background in advisory and operational excellence. Before co-founding AYA, he had been advising energy utilities, and at functioned as a management consultant specialising in operational efficiency. At AYA, he focusses on value capture by designing and steering the company’s business model and management operating system. He also plays a key role in driving growth, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.​

With a background in business engineering at UCL & LSM and experience in the IT sector, Emilie joined AYA 2 years ago to contribute to the energy transition. Driven by a passion for sustainable development, she is dedicated to developing energy solutions that create value for clients. She serves a diverse range of private and public clients, including Brussels Airport, Horeca multisites, and Cliniques de l’Europe, helping them craft tailored energy strategies, by focusing on reducing both environmental footprints and financial bottom lines. ​

Christof Deckmyn is an experienced energy transition professional with a strong background in change management, strategic transformation, and business development. As an Energy Partner at AYA, he leverages his expertise to drive innovative energy solutions, optimize project management, and support sustainable growth. With a PhD in Electrical Engineering and a track record of leadership roles at Bekaert, ENGIE Tractebel, and Elia, Christof combines technical proficiency with strategic insight to navigate complex energy landscapes. His dynamic, results-driven approach makes him a key contributor to advancing the energy sector’s transformation.​

Dirk is a strong believer in a 100% renewable energy supply, also for Belgium. Graduated in product development, he uses his broad interests to come up with unexpected yet proven solutions for AYA customers.  Electrifying and Integrating heating and cooling, and transport and mobility would reduce Belgium’s energy demand by half. That would allow to fully cover the country’s energy needs from domestic renewable sources while abolishing the dependency of energy imports, reducing energy costs and negative social and environmental impacts worldwide. Dirk has been working on energy and climate in the environment and citizen cooperative movement since the mid ’90s.  

A Polytechnic engineer with a solid background in energy & environment domain. Able to understand energy markets in all their  complexity and design tailor-made hedging strategies to help our client capture/save the maximum value from energy market, while ensuring compliance with local regulation. In a nutshell, Nelson bring safety and security to our clients, by  transforming their biggest energy challenges into greatest  opportunities. ​

Loes is a passionate energy professional with a strong interest in all environmental topics, with energy transition as her main focus. With a background in energy consulting and over 10 years of experience in developing wind energy projects, she combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to create impactful solutions.

Her creative mindset and perseverance drive her to tackle complex challenges and turn ideas into action. She is dedicated to shaping solutions that balance ecological impact, innovation, and societal value, always striving to create tangible benefits for organisations, people, and the planet.

Sofie is a dedicated professional who has been with the company since its start 15 years ago. She manages billing and accounting tasks, ensuring smooth and accurate financial operations. Sofie also provides support in HR administration and invoice control. With a background in engineering, she brings a detail-oriented and analytical approach to her work, contributing to the company’s operational success and stability.​

Baudouin has a 25 years track record in the deregulated energy sector, accompanying industrials, retail and tertiary organizations since the liberalization of the market,. He knows how to match consumer’s needs and risks with the newest and best fitting contracts, pricing mechanisms and market opportunities. At Aya, Baudouin leads the ‘Traditional’ Energy management service and team, assuring bottom line (cost) optimization for our partners. ​

Pieter Callebaut is an experienced marketing and sales professional with over 17 years of expertise in the sustainable energy sector. In his previous roles at IZEN, Pieter successfully scaled up PV installations from 500 to 3,000 per year. ​

Pieter is passionate about translating complex energy solutions into clear, inspiring messages that contribute to a more sustainable future.

Justin is an ambitious and driven professional with a Bachelor’s degree in International Business. During his graduation internship at AYA, he focussed on sustainability and marketing, demonstrating his commitment to creating impactful solutions. Now pursuing his Master’s degree, Justin continues to contribute as a valuable member of AYA’s Marketing Support team with his growing expertise and passion for sustainable business strategies.​

Sibel is 39 years old and has been with our company for 13 years. She studied office management and has professional experience as an accountant. She is responsible for various back-office tasks. This includes performing invoice control to ensure accuracy, calculating capacity assets, and handling a range of other administrative tasks essential to the smooth operation of the company.​

Julie is 35 years old and studied Business Administration at College Ghent. She has been with our company for nine years, where she plays an essential role in the administrative team. Julie is responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including the meticulous tracking of customer data. Her duties involve maintaining and analysing data, managing customer files, and ensuring the quality and integrity of information.

Théodore is a dynamic energy professional with a solid background in applied economics. Building on his experience as a consultant in the energy sector, he now focuses on  helping companies gain a competitive advantage through effective energy management. Driven by a commitment to sustainability, Théodore ensures that every project delivers lasting benefits for both the environment and businesses.

With a Master’s from HEC Liège and extensive international business experience, he brings over 6 years in energy consulting, strategy, and client management. At AYA Energy, he supports industrial and public clients in optimizing energy use, integrating renewables, and reducing emissions, designing comprehensive, sustainable solutions that advance AYA’s mission to accelerate the energy transition and foster a cleaner, smarter energy future.​

Pieter is a hands-on professional with a versatile background, driven by a belief in shared success and the power of collaboration. With expertise in PV and a unique “inside-the-box” thinking approach—challenging boundaries while respecting them—he combines technical knowledge with a people-centred mindset. Pieter thrives on fostering close relationships, turning challenges into shared opportunities for growth. Aligned with AYA’s mission, he is passionate about catalysing the shift from environmental awareness to tangible action, creating meaningful and lasting change through systemic solutions and collective effort.​

rnaud is an action-oriented professional with a background in solar energy, consultancy at PwC and in project management across diverse sectors. Driven by a strong commitment to environmental impact, he simplifies the complexities of the energy sector for clients, making them more accessible. Arnaud has led projects in procurement, Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), and onsite photovoltaic (PV) installations.​

Wouter is an enthusiastic energy coordinator with 3 years of experience, specialising in renewable energy projects. He is passionate about sustainable energy solutions and has dedicated his career to supporting and assisting Energy Managers in various renewable energy initiatives. Wouter is also responsible for independently executing projects, bringing his expertise and commitment to advancing green energy. ​

Noé has been in the energy sector for almost 10 years now. After a first experience in technical project management on international HRSG projects, he joined Lampiris as PPA manager for 3.5 years, steering a portfolio over 2 TWh of Belgian green power, and collaborating on various innovative projects (batteries, energy community, etc.)

Noé has also a 2-year-experience as Energy auditor, during which he helped more 25 businesses understand their energy consumption and identify key measures to implement to pursue the energy transition.

He brings to Aya significant knowledge of the Belgian energy landscape along with a solid network amongst the sector.

Shahane has a keen interest in all environmental topics with energy transition as the main subject. She has a Master’s degree in Environmental management from UCLouvain and has worked as a renewable energy consultant for 5 years for  business clients, focusing on various energy-related topics, such as feasibility studies for on-site electricity generation, energy efficiency and internal energy audits, to name a few. ​

After 7 years of sales, account management and business unit management in engineering and IT consultancy, Vincent decided to pursue his career into the energy sector.​

His main goal is to structure and strengthen the way industrial leaders and corporate consumers navigate through their energy transition.​

His experience led him to work with leaders at every level, operating through complexity, and driving results in fast-changing environments.​
